What I think about this is parents always support their children, but they don't show it as much as they're suppose to. The reason why I think that is that the parents think our generation is messed up and is anti-social because when we have events or big events in our lives, we have to always let them know. But when it comes to times like hanging out with your friends, instead of bonding with your parents that gives our parents a signal that the child really doesn't want to be bothered. What I, Christopher Torres, thinks is we don't spend as much time with our parents because our generation of teens we don't like to stay at one place or do the same thing that day in and day out because to be serious, that's boring. Now, in my household there's one parent and my dad and he ain't always around so I might not have as much time as you other teens but when I do, I tell him about my day and let him know if I need something what realy matters is that even though my dad and I don't see each other as much as we're suppose to, but we are close, like father & son are suppose to be. And this is the relationship in general that you're suppose to have with your parents. So that you will always know they watch out for you...........B-)
